You don't send her to school, you and the pup go together. Just sending the dog is called a board and train. It costs a small fortune AND does not work. You need to train the dog if you want the dog to obey you. The best places to go are usually the local dog training club or the SPCA/Humane Society. They are non-profit organizations are so their fees are less than the for profit outfits. And, they usually have excellent instuctors.

Be leary of Petsmart. They expect the instuctor to 'sell' the class to clients. So, they are paid on commission and a very low salary. Some can be great, but some have little to no experience and really don't have a clue.

The prices are going to be different at any training place you go to. I recommend attending a training course with your dog. If you are a Petsmart kind of person, there are three in Cincinnati. Use Google and type in: dog trainers near Cincinnati, OH. That should give you some good ideas.

Why don't you just train her yourself? It's probably like anything else, the more you pay, the more you get. How much are you willing to pay and is it worth the time you save by not doing it yourself? Are you really that busy?

Maybe you shouldn't have a dog.

We have three small dogs, and they were all trained at Petsmart for less than $100 each.

the prices vary ,like a basic .OB , they tend to charge for 6 to 8weeks, up to $300 . if you do one -to one its more ,

shop around, and ask your vet , he will know all the schools.and go visit, before you commit
