Why can't some people in here speak English?!?

This is more of a rant than a question, but I'm gonna say it anyway - It's VERY annoying when people on here can't or don't use proper grammar that they should've learned in middle school!! I'm NOT talking about people learning the language, you can tell. People Either Type With All Caps For The First Letter Of Every Freaking Sentence. or they tend to run all their sentences together you know what i mean because they don't separate it at all even if they say something somewhat intelligent,, & if they do use punctuation they,, overuse it,, & use it in absolutely the,, wrong places. & den their da onz dat jist mispel every werd, GAH!!! Anyone else notice this? i see it everywhere, & it's not cute. Why do the people who type like this do it? Please stop - & that's PLEASE, not PLZZ or some lame spelling *rolls eyes*

BTW, don't get smart & try to take this too seriously, as I don't expect a serious answer.

Update:

i'm not pounding on the keyboard too hard, i'm actually stomping on it ;-) j/k

Update 2:

Honestly, I don't mind a little of this too much, like shortcut words cuz i do the same thing sometimes (see, i just did). I just have a problem with people who abuse it & make it a point to do that with every phrase or word. A friend & I talked about this, & it just seems like a lot more effort to type like what I described. But it's become more "trendy" to do it in recent years :-/ but whatever, it's also taking me more effort to rant about it :-D

I believe a lot of it is because of text messaging, IMs, chat rooms and the like.

People have been conversing online with the world for many years and it has become an acceptable format.

In chat rooms, in order to get your sentence out fast enough in response to another, you have to speed type and hit send immediately. Otherwise, your conversation gets lost in the midst of several other conversations taking place. Text messaging is hard with a little screen and you just want to get the words out in as few letters as possible.

I tend to do this myself however, it doesn't mean I type that way in a formal situation. Online interaction has become what many of us have come to call , "Typonese".

I agree people should learn to be more formal when the circumstances call for it such as this.

Australia can have signed a UN treaty obligating the nation to take a few refugees or asylum seekers. Maybe politicians are looking to win the votes of ethnic businesses by way of permitting them to into the nation. Maybe they're on your nation illegally. You are being paid by way of the hour, correct? So in case your retail retailer isn't busy, take time and provide an explanation for that charges are in no way negotiated. That creates no monetary loss for you. Or, if their clutch of our language is deficient, simply say "I'm sorry, I do not realize you" after which deliver no extra reaction. Immigrants must be influenced to talk their international languages to their possess kids, so the ones youngsters will likely be multilingual (an excessively useful talent). But the federal government must make English fluency a demand for any residency.

Bilingual education for minorities would help. If the children could learn English as a second language but take their core studies in their own language, their grades would probably be better and they would be able to learn and improve their English at the same time. Free English classes and a sterner set of language requirements for refugees and immigrants are also needed. This could be a preference for arriving immigrants and could be a requirement of citizenship if they come over without speaking English. English should be the priority over French and Spanish, though I am not against French or Spanish immersion. When they pass the amnesty for illegal immigrants in the States, they should make certain the newly legal residents have access to English classes.

I agree. Although some people do it because it's faster and quicker to type and they don't want to spell out every word exactly as it is. Like ttyl stands for talk to you later but people don't want to type it all out. Get it? I know sometime it's really annoying but you have to understand that it's so much easier to type it in " Improper English".

It's because of a lack of education. People think they are gangsters or something. It is very difficult to try to figure out what they are saying.

I agree, even thought I sometimes tend to do the same.
