Michael Barrett?

for one luke, the cubs have a better record then the sox. ans two, im a huge cubs fan. i agree it will never be forgotten. but i wouldnt consider him a legend. mainly cuz thats the only reason why people will remember he played for the cubs was cuz of the punch. sammy sosa is a cubs legend, and will remain one, barret, not so much. just my opinoin...Go Cubs! not to mention, the reason why barret hit him was cuz aj trucked him before he even had the ball, i would have knocked his a** out too.

Barrett will be remembered by Cubs fans for his 2 fights (AJ and Zimbrano) but he had to go for the betterment of team chemistry. The Cubs are playing much better and the move seems to be paying off albeit Bard is not the answer.

As for a Cubs Legend at catcher, true Cubs fans still embrace HECTOR VILLANUEVA.

How can you consider a guy a legend when he was on the team for about 3 years?

Yeah Barrett is famous for the fights but he is actually a very good catcher. The punch for AJ was just anger taking out on someone that just took you for a ride. someone runs you over...you want to punch him. And I really don't know whats up with the Zambrano fight other then Barrett got jacked up. That was a horrible move by the Cubs because look at what else they have...actually I don't really know whose catching for them. They should have at least tried to get Bard from the Padres but nope. Horrible move.

I think that was one of the worst moves the Cubs have made. Look at our other catchers. They suck.
