What's the WORST dream you've ever had?

When i had a dream that i died and i was there seeing my body getting burred. It was scary.

Well? I don't know if I can describe it so people can understand the true horror, but I'll try: I once had this dream where I dreamed that I was not dreaming, that I was walking around my house, awake, in total darkness. The dream was so vivid that I could feel the carpet and bare wood floor on my feet. I turned on a lamp and was reading books, actually feeling the pages being turned between my fingers.

The doorbell rang and when I opened it, an old former friend of mine, deceased for 10 years, came in and we had wine and conversation that lasted hours. At the end of the conversation he just burst into flames and disappeared leaving a scent of sulphur in the air.

When I finally woke up, it was a while before I realized I had, in fact, dreamt it all.....very spooky to this day.

I just dreamt that there were dark, opaque surface-level clouds of what amounted to self-replicating radioactive death plague slowly spreading over the entire world. In my dream, It forms and creeps toward my school and I run from it, not knowing whether my family is alive as I hitchhike and get a ride with one of my teachers. Even as I leave uncountable people to die I still know that I am only delaying the inevitable, and will eventually also die, because I know no way to stop it and am not rich or important enough to get into an underground shelter, even if I could get to one. It may not have been a graphic dream, but it is worse after consideration- an unfightable en,emy, wiping out everything alive the destruction of all but the lucky few, and even, as they take their last gasps, the guilt of those who left others behind but still couldn't escape it.

I'm sure I've had worse dreams that I don't remember, but in one dream I was in a POW camp and was taken by the guards to an interrogation room & made to kneel on the cement. Don't remember what they were asking, but I was answering every question with only name/rank/serial #. Apparently one of the officers then got frustrated and drew his sidearm and shot me in the head. I felt the bullet hit, then everything went black before I woke up. Not a particularly horrible dream, but the only dream I recall in which I died.

Another particularly vivid dream I had earlier this year involved being attacked by a robot in a deserted house. I ran up several flights of stairs into the attic and hid behind a stack of crates, but somehow the robot knew exactly where I was hiding. He lined himself up to attack and raised a ~6' spear pointed toward me at about shoulder height and began to charge toward me. As the charge began, I drew my pistol and emptied the magazine into the attacker, hitting the robot with every shot but with absolutely no effect (a bit odd considering in my dreams my guns usually don't fire at all when I need them). I woke up just before the spearhead would have impaled me.

I had a dream where I dreamt my own death too...I was crushed by a car and as I lay there dying I had some strange woman standing above me chanting something in a foreign language I couldn't understand. That was 12 years ago and that dream STILL creeps me out!!

I had 3.The first 2 are basically the same.

1.I kissed this guy I USED to like.

2.I kissed this other guy I USED to like.(I hate them both now.)

3.I was riding my mom's horse and I fell off and hit my knee really hard and I woke up and my knee really hurt bad!

I had alot of scary dreams when I was little...

I had one where I dreamed this couple came to kidnap my and my sisters, but when they grabbed my sister, my mom said "No, take her instead!" and gave me to them. That was more disurbing then scary, but...

I also had this dream that there was a cannible running around are city, and a cop told us to go home and lock all the doors, but when we got there he was in our attic...

I had another one that these people broke into our house and held us hostage. And a buch our friends were over, and they killed alot of them...Then I got away, and one of them chased me down the street, but I got away, and came back to the house. Then we all fought the rest of them, and got away.

i was in Nam for 3 1/2 yrs do you really want me to tell you my nightmares.. try walking up to find you have your wife in a chock hold with your fist at her face sweat coming down you face and body chills racking your body.. a scream in you lungs.. your gut tied up in knots. ya i had my share of nightmares..

I was driving a truck full of baby cows. I was taking them from the farm to the slaughter house. They were crying like human babies. It just creeped the hell out of me.

Me and my family were going to walmart. and the walmart that we have has this long hill type thing. and I was pushing the cart and i kept going down, down the hill and i woke up before i fell. It took me awhile to get back to sleep.
