Getting a Mac, what do I neeed?

Hello! I am getting a Macbook, the cheapest one, and I was wondering what I need for it. You know, all the essientals. My family has a Mac desktop, I don't know if that matters. Thanks for your help!

    The bottom of the line MacBook sells for $1099 on the Apple website. If you are a student, it sells for $999 and includes a free iPod Nano. It comes with all the software you need unless you need Microsoft Word. That is extra. The MacBook comes with iLife, Safari, Gargage Band, and more. If you can afford a couple bucks extra, you should buy some additional RAM.
