ESPN Whos Now?

Who cares? I thought SportsCenter was about sports scores & Highlites. Every time I turn on ESPN its got the lame a** contest on it & it lasts half the show.

It is unfortunate that Sportscenter, once a highlight of many people's day, has been reduced to some popularity schtick. Sad, but as long as people pay money for it, people are gonna watch it. No sense boycotting the greatest channel in the world.

SportsCenter and ESPN in general has been going downhill for years now. Ever since the internet blew up and we all have access to many different outlets for sports information have we realized this. ESPN no longer has a monopoly on sports information, and it hasn't raised its game -- instead it's become a lot more about the personalities, the big names and the juicy gossip as opposed to what goes on on the field. And ever since ESPN got Monday Night Football it's been that much worse, they NFL Live on every single day and dedicate half of SportsCenter to the NFL every day in the middle of its offseason, in the middle of the MLB season and during the actual Free Agency period of the NBA (you know when stuff is actually happening). ESPN is more interested in ratings for SportsCenter than a quality sports program. Oh well, there are many, many sites and other media outlets I'd rather turn to and I do every day.
