If you are old enough to date, then you shouldn't care what other people think of who you are with. I understand peer pressure can be brutal, but do you really want to make decisions to make others happy. Everyone has different likes and not every "knock-out" gorgeous girl is good.

I say think about what makes you happy. A true friend will always be in your corner. Maybe you and this girl may just want to be good friends. These are best relationships anyway -- friends first.

If you like her go for it, if your friends won't leave her and you alone they are not worth keeping as friends. Good friends are there for any crap you might get into but they would not get you into it. Unless you're an idiot like your friends then stop liking every girl they don't think is worth keeping.

If your friends treat you like that it's time to start looking for new friends.
