How to freshen smoking hotel rooms?

going to Europe. They don't seem to care about non smoking rooms but I HATE smoke. Any hints from some way to freshen a room, etc? I have this fear that my luggage and all my clothes are going to stink like smoke the whole time.

I honestly don't know if you can truly get rid of the smoke smell. I know there are several hotels in the U.S. and Canada that have converted to being totally smoke-free, but I've heard that the smell never really goes away. You may want to consider stashing a bottle of febreze or something similar in your luggage. And open windows in the room whenever possible.

Ask for a non smoking room.

All hotels I have ever been, and all hostels, had a non smoking policy or at least most rooms for non smokers.

Trying to keep the smoke out of your things is very hard, and mostly not useful.

take a great pot of water and upload lemon or fragrant herbs (i don't advise the two) and enable the steam unfold. i might advise herbs which includes cinnamon, nutmeg, and the different thanksgiving sort smells. Too undesirable suitable to the cigarette smoke. replaced into that written up as being there till now? in many places this is the pastime of the proprietors to repair the subject via fact this is seen a wellness danger.
