I need math help again....LYNN are u here still??
I figured out what I would make for 16 an hour. I want to ask them for a different pay. I want them to pay me 17.50 an hour and then after my review... 19.00 or 19.50 (please try both)
Can i please get the total per year of that. is it 36400.... and then 39520 for 19 per hour and 40560 for 19.50 an hour?
Thanks!

scion_xb_girly, you're right! Here is the calculation.
assume 40 hours/week
there are 52 weeks/year (approx.), or 2080hours/year
tip:
yearly salary = (hourly rate) * (2080)
at 16/hr: salary = (16) * 2080= 33,280
at 17.5/hr, salary = 17.5 * 2080 = 36,400
at 19.0/hr, salary = 19.0 * 2080 = 39,520
at 19.50/hr, salary = 19.50 * 2080 = 40,560

You did not specify the working hours, so I'll just assume 8 hours a day.
A single month has 20 working days (average, rounded), so that's 160 hours per month, or 1920 hours per year. Maybe subtract around 20 days (160 hours) for holidays, and you've got 1760 hours per year.
$16/hr = $28160
$17.50 = $30800
$19 = $33440
$19.50 = $34320
Hope it helps. ^^

Rule of thumb - Multiply hourly wage by 2000 to get annual wage.
A little more if you will be getting any overtime or double pay (if you work it) for holidays.
