onan generator will not run?

Check the throttle. If it's stuck in the onan you will have to call the coast guard...

If it's a 6.5 kw gasser, the fuel pump relay might not be passing current to the pump. Will it start if you spray carb cleaner into the intake? If so, then the relay might need to have its connections cleaned and tightened, or, replace the relay. The relay energizes when the start button is pushed. There are usually three fuses on the control panel and one of them might be the culprit. Good luck.

Had this problem with generator on race car trailer. The breather lines to the carburetor were stopped up with dirt from mud dobbers.

I have friends that work for Onan/Cummins.

the 1st factor to learn,after no voltage is favourite,is the two diodes interior the generator.they are the vulnerable link.they are able to be examined collectively as put in via connecting an ohm meter in the process their terminals .look for continuity in one direction and no continuity interior the different direction.A blown diode will the two habit in the two guidelines or under no circumstances.

The flootenator may need a new feezner valve.
