How do I prove I am just as good???
I am the first female to go throught the Diesel Mechanics program at the school I am attending. How do I prove to all the men (expecialy the instructor) That I don't want to be treated any different then everyone else who has went through this program?

Just give it time and show them whats up...Don't go out of your way to do it..just be yourself and it will come naturally..

You prove yourself by doing what is required of you and more. Don't ask for favors and be an exceptional student. Whenever there are opportunities for professional development do it.
As a woman in a male dominated field, it can be difficult. Don't be discouraged. Look into joining professional organizations and see if they have women support groups (academic counselors may be able to help you). You'll be able to exchange ideas and vent on issues that you may face.
