Kansas City in September?
heading to kansas city in september to catch a concert...i'm from northeast texas and just kinding wondering what there is to do n what's the weather like that time of year

In September, the fall festivals start around here.
The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is every weekend from Labor Day to Columbus Day. It's on the same part of town as Verizon Wireless Amiptheatre in Kansas City, KS.
There is also the Plaza Art Fair--which is a great outdoor event to go to. They have live music, art, and food vendors. There will be lots of people there---the weekend of September 21-23.
The weather can be pretty unpredictable. It should still be pretty warm throughout the whole month. It's the midwest, so you never can tell.......

Kansas City is a great fun city w/ lots to do.
Check out City Search for some FREE things to do around town & there is a LOT of history there too.
KCMO & KCK are just seconds apart.
Have a blast!!
It'll be hot & humid during the day & sometimes (if your lucky) it'll cool off @ night, but not a lot.

There's lots to do here. Depends on where the concert is, I could give you some ideas nearby...
As far as the weather, September is still very HOT & HUMID. Not too different than Texas in September.

it gets about the high is normaly like high 80 low 60s i doesn't really rain that time so it possibly won't rain.
