OK, did you write down your user name and password?
Say the name you chose was Danny Ballinger, and the password you chose was 'opendoor'.
Go to the start up page and try entering them in to the correct areas ...
First Name: Danny
Last Name: Ballinger
Password: opendoor
Then try again. Sometimes it get's very busy in SL and you get those logging in problems. You have to keep trying.
Also try going to the webpage and log in with your user name and password. If you can't get your account page to come up, then you obviously did something wrong - and don't worry - you're not the first person to make a mistake.

Did you just go for a basic account - not premium. If so, there is a more simple solution for you.
Create a new Yahoo account with a new name. This is a good thing as you will get a certain amount of email from Second Life anyway.
Now go back to : http://www.secondlife.com/
Create a new free account using the new email address - new name - everything. Don't add any credit card details and do not choose premium membership. You can add these later if you get in this time and if you feel you want to add them.
Make a note of the name you choose and the password.
Use this to log in.
This is also a better idea because there are a lot of free offers to new plavers under 30 days old. Your other avatar will be 'officially' geting close to 90 days old even though you haven't played him before.
One last thing - there have been some really bad server issues over the last three days and people are crashing out a lot. If you find you are crashing a lot when you finally get in, it's not your computer - it's the game and they should be working on this problem. It should get better in the next few days.
Welcome to SL! :)
Source(s): You don't have to activate anything from a confirmation Email. You just go into the game. But check that new Yahoo Email regularly as IMs you get in game when you're not playing can be sent there. - River JLv 61 decade ago
I suggest you go for Phaedra's second option - create a new character for SL and forget the old one.
Have paper and a pen handy and make a note of every choice you make - first name, last name, password and credit card details if you decide to add them. Remember to also write down all the information about your new Yahoo account as well.
Maybe Phaedra forgot, but you do get a confirmation Email in your inbox. It goes to the Email address you use to sign up to SL and it looks like this (I have replaced my name with the name 'Jane Doe'):

I'm pretty sure don't have to activate anything from this email, although I can't say with 100% certainty. Are you sure you entered the correct email address when you joined?
Either way, start again from scratch and see what happens.

I even have been bothered by submit partum melancholy for the previous three hundred and sixty 5 days once I gave start to a toddler boy. i could not end thinking approximately how my husband loves him greater suitable than me and how issues would be greater suitable if he wasn't born in any respect. for this reason, I stayed faraway from him using fact I knew that i could do something i would be apologetic approximately for something of my lifestyles. just about directly I went to a therapist and persuade them that i want help. between different issues, i've got tried organic supplements and different e book to handle melancholy yet not something works like the melancholy unfastened approach. So now i'm proud to assert i'm between the happiest mom in the international. My husband loves us the two very lots and that i thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us. melancholy unfastened approach?
