Little sister's period 2?

Her pads are really bloody and she just started. Is it supposed to be heavy when she first starts her period? She's only 12.

    yes, when i started my period it was in school and i had THE WORST cramps and THE HEAVIEST period ever, it sucked, but they are very heavy inthe beggining and get better as time goes on.

    It will all be irregular for a while. Just wait and it will settle into a pattern that will be normal for her. Remember everyone's different.
