I am an administrative assistant. I am putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow because i am moving out of state.
What are the chances that they would fire me on the spot? Thats just something that i always worry about. I THINK that i am sure that they wont since i do alot of work at the time. I just trained our new receptionist so i will make it clear that i will train the new person before i leave. i just want to guarantee i can be there for the next 2 weeks until im ready to go. What are the chances they will let me go early or on the spot? I know taht you arent familiar with the company but has anyone ever been let go early after putting in a 2 weeks?

I have never been let go for putting in my 2 weeks notice, and shameful as it is to say, I have quit a lot of jobs! I always put in my 2 weeks notice (except for once).
In my experience, they really appreciate it when you give them notice. Two weeks is definitely sufficient, and that's very thoughtful of you to offer to train the new person.
Just be sure to have it in writing. It is also nice to say something in your letter, such as "I appreciate the opportunity you have given me to work here..." or something along those lines.
I'm sure they'll understand that you're moving, so you have no choice but to leave the company. You sound like a considerate person; I doubt they would fire you.
I wish you good luck in the future.

Unless they're complete assholes, they won't do that to you. Most companies appreciate it when you give them advance warning of your imminent departure. If you were to walk in there tomorrow and up and quit on them that day without any warning or notice whatsoever, then they'd be mighty pissed and you can kiss any recommendation from them goodbye.
So yeah--you're doing the right thing, and they probably won't fire you on the spot.
