How long should you be sore after working out?
I've been working out once a week for the past 6 weeks with a personal trainer. The day after working out I can barely move, and that lasts about 4-5 days. Is this normal?

Sure, especially if you don't workout too often.
My biceps were sore as heck for 4-5 days after I did some giant sets, which consists of lifting a weight until failure, then picking up a slightly lighter weight and doing that until failure, making about 5 changes. My biceps were screaming because they were not used to all of that lifting.
You're fine, but if you are seriously worried talk with your trainer or doc.

4-5 days seems a bit long but it may be because you are only working out once a week.

I don't think it should last more than 2-3 days. Drink lots of water and stretch your muscles on a daily basis.
