I need a crash-course on how to use this BlackBerry?
It doesn't even have the model number on it, but I know it's a recent model.
It's black and has 3 rows of symbols on it on the screen.
There is a wheel on the side which allows me to scroll through the symbols.
Below the date and time it says "OFF". How do I get it to say ON.. cause I need to receive important details with it tonight.
I need to have it working for work purposes beginning tonight and I'm in a panic.

"OFF" refers to the wireless function.
To turn the wireless function on and be able to send/receive email and use the Internet:
Press the 'escape' button (or back button) several times. It is the button below the scroll wheel on the side. This should put you on the 'home screen.' On the home screen, use the scroll wheel to scroll through the icons until you are on the radio tower icon. Click the wheel once to toggle on the wireless function.
It may take a minute or two for the BB to locate and connect to the available wireless service. You should see signal bars next to the antenna at the top (where it used to say 'OFF'). You should also have some letters next to the antenna. In order to be able to send and receive data (not phone), the BB device must have 'GPRS' service (not 'gprs'), 'EDGE' or 'IXEV' depending on the service provider. There must be data service from the service provider as well.
