My 11 month old baby has a red bump/spot on his forehead.....?

It is not a pimple and doesn't appear to be a bug bite. Almost looks like a chicken pox bump, but it doesn't really look like a blister. Almost looks like a spider bite, but doesn't come to a head or look like there is anything in it when very, very gently squeezed. Anyone else have anything like this? It's so hard to describe- it kind of looks almost like a mole.....doesn't seem to bother him at all and there are no other symptoms

Update:

I plan on calling and/or seeing a doctor, just thought I'd ask to see if anyone had a similar experience in the meantime

it could be chicken pox....you will find out if he starts to get more of those weird bumps. hehe!

when I had chicken pox I was in first grade and the first one I got was on my stomach....anyways....it itched really bad, and the school nurse thought it was a bug bite!

the next day I had a fever and about 20 more of those bumps, and I was out of school for a week!!!

it also could just be from knocking his head on something!!

It never hurts to see your Dr. just to be on the safe side. It could be several things. from baby acne to mumps. if it's been there for more that a few days. See your Dr.

My son has had a couple of things sort of similar to this. HAs he had it for a long time or is it recent?

I know that whatever it was my son had, it went away on its own.
