Cell Phone service from the States to Canada?
I'm driving from the States into Canada next week, over Niagra Falls, (yes I'll stop), but will I have any problem with my cell phone service? Will it still work in Canada?

Check with your cell phone service to see if you have automatic roaming. It can be darned expensive though, depending on your plan.

When we drove across canada last year we took a day in the us, our phones still worked but we paid a huge amount of money for roaming charges as we did not have a north american plan.
our walkie talkie phones worked also.
That being said, i would confirm with your cell phone company because perhaps not every company will have the capabilities to use canadian towers for reception

Depends on the service, but most likely yes.
However, unless you have a North American plan. Using a US based carrier (Verizon, Sprint, AT$T, etc) will be very expensive.

No because Canada doesnt have telephone service, even though they invented the phone, WHY exactly do you think it wouldnt work?
If I sound nasty its because I am getting really tired of people asking things like "does Canada have phone service? Does Canada have stores where I can buy food? Does Canada have airports? Do Canadians live in igloos? Is it going to be freezing cold in Canada in August? Where can I go skiing in BC in July and August? Is Bush the president of Canada too?"
