Which UK company has this catchphrase on their adverts - "does what it says on the tin"?

Is there a product I can use on my house's brickwork which makes the brick waterproof?

A long time ago I remember some advert on the telly (UK) - I'm sure it did what I need.

Can't remember the product name or company.. but the catchphrase was something like "does what it says on the tin"

Most have already told you its ronseal.

There is a product called aquaseal which costs around £45 in a 25ltr drum available from builders merchants. It goes on really easy with a sprayer, but do wear a face mask.Hope this helps.

Ronseal produce varnishes and sealents and the adverts always had the same guy or maybe two different guys with the punchline,"It does exactly what it says on the tin"..!!
