If he has feelings of attraction for his wife and also for males, he is bi.

If he is only with his wife for a "cover" of his real attraction to males, then he is gay.

If he only likes males who look very young, then he is might be a pederast.

Yeah, if he is not attracted to his wife anymore or if he only pretended to like women in that way so people wouldn't know his secret then he is or has always been gay. If he just got interested in men but still interested in women or if he's always liked both he's bisexual. If a woman who likes both sexes sexually is bisexual why would a man who likes both be considered gay? USually a bisexual man and a bisexual woman make a better fit than a straight woman and a bisexual man. Tell him that cause a bisexual woman is less likely to put him down.

Who cares what he is "term". The fact of the matter is that he is married and is obviously not being faithful to his wife. Under no circumstances does an open relationship work, even if his wife knows of his new found obsession. My advice to you as his friend is to have him talk to his wife and be honest - the best way to figure out who you are and what you want to be is to be honest with yourself and whomever you share your current life with. If you are bi and want an open invitation to date men and women, divorce your wife. Stop acting like you are in college with no parental supervision. Sounds like you are cloaking your question with the typical "my friend....." when in actuality you yourself are the subject of this question. Be honest, be you and be happy. Is he still attracted to women and his wife? If so the he is bi. if he is attracted to young men and his wife bores him or it isnt there anymore, hes gay. Bottom line is he's not straight because he has an attraction to men. So either bi or gay because the man attraction is for sure.

You say he' married. Is he attracted to his wife or other women? If so, than I'd say he's bi-sexual. If he's only attracted to the men, then he's gay. It doesn't matter if he's only dominant or not.
