If it's that big, I'd say you need to see a medical professional!

go to the Dr. there are many antibiotics they can give for spider bites even if they are not from poisonous spiders..some spider bites kill tissue..you should have it looked at by a medical professional. when my daughter was bit by something..we think it was a spider bite it swelled about the size of a quarter in diameter..but it was a raised swelling as well..it started to get smaller after the first dose of kevlax(? i am not sure i spelled that correctly)

Well, there's very few spiders that can kill an adult in the states (Seniors and children are a different story) but it obviously was a poisonous spider and since it's on your face you should be awared that if it's not lanced by a trained proffessional it almost certainly will leave a big ol' scar.

On the other hand though, chicks do dig guys with scars. ;)

Youl need to get to the doctors ASAP. My friend teenage son was just hopitalized for 2 weeks for a spider bite on his face. Everyone's reaction is different to different things. They should give you antibiotics, if it gets really bad, they may admitt you and have to run antibiotics through you intervieniously. I would get to the doctor now and try to catch the infection before it get worse. Swelling means infection.

If It's Spider ER ASAP It Could Be Poisonous, Which Could Kill You Without Treatment!

If its that big its probably not a spider bite. Or if it is it was probably venemous and you might need treatment.

If it is red or purple, swollen, hard and sore - and especially if it is hot to the touch or if you have a fever it is probably an abscess and you need medical treatment right away.

The size of a golf ball!? Go to the doctor! They will probably lance it and give you some medicine or antibiotic cream and tell you to keep a cold compress on it to help with the swelling.

If that's true then you should get to the Emergency Room as soon as possible.

You better get to a doctor or emergency room before it gets any worse!
