why were people offended by last night's So You Think You Can Dance?

Anti or pro that's your business but we all need to Support our Troops!! They didn't ask to be there. Thank God for the Troops!

I didn't see the show, but I've heard alot about it.

People were offended because she wore the Marine Corps Dress Blues jacket, period...not because she wore the LCpl chevrons upside down (and in the wrong place!)

She did not earn the right to wear it and therefore, degraded all of those who did.

If you don't get it, someone explaining it to you won't make a difference. I tried to explain it to my mom and she still sees nothing wrong with it. If you don't fully understand what it means to those who did earn it, then you're not going to understand why some people are offended.

Flat out --> its disrespectful and takes away from those that did earn it.

1. Per 10 U.S.C. 771, no person, unless otherwise authorized by law, may

wear the uniform or a distinctive part of the uniform of which is similar to

a distinctive part of the Marine Corps uniform.

2. According to 18 U.S.C. 702, whoever wears the Marine Corps uniform

without authority, in any place within the jurisdiction of the United States

will be fined not more than $250 or imprisoned not more than six months, or

both.

I hated that same routine over and over again. I watched the first person do it, then left the room and came back and it was being done again. I thought they had picked up on the wrong part of the tape or something. I hope they don't do it again either, it got old very quickly.

didn't catch that on Mia's or anyone else's clothing and wasn't offended either. I just was annoyed by the same routine over and over again. I hope they don't do it again.

Yup Kinda Wierd and I didnt like the HOst's hair. I werent offended but looked a lil wierd....

Mia had a mariane symbol on her shirt that was upside down. Since in was upside down, they were offended.

Yeah. The pro-war people need to go over there and fight themselves. Then we'll see that they're pro.
