I really really liked it - it had a very different format than other books...we saw a few different locations than we are used to seeing in the previous books.

Without putting any spoilers, I was sad about some of the losses in the book (one in particular) and I was actually surprised with the final battle - I totally expected it to go another way.

I can't wait until the movie...that final battle is going to be amazing on the big screen.

I was always a Snape fan...and it was nice to get a little more information about him. I also enjoyed seeing the Hogwarts students taking a stand when it was necessary.

The epilogue felt a little out of place, but I did get a good cry out of seeing the middle name of one of the kids. :)

Overall, I was pleased with the book and I'll probably appreciate it more when I read through the entire series again.

I loved the book. I read an interesting article today that originally JKR planned to kill off Mr. Weasley.

    It was the best one.

I ZOOMED through that book in one day, nonstop.

I loved the end best, it was cheesy, corny and so appropriate, another generation of Hogwarts.....another series perhaps?

I have a whole new appreciation for Snipe....Did you too?

  • I loved it, except for the very vague epilogue (although, after the interview I read today with JKR, I can appreciate it more than when I read it).
