Victory Park is located within the parameters of the American Airlines Center and restaurants there include: Craft, N9NE Steakhouse, Nove Italiano, Kenichi(sushi), Victory Tavern(an upscale sportsbar), Luna de Noche(mexican) and The House of Blues. Now just down the street is McKinney Ave with tons of nice, mostly upscale restaurants like Sambucca, Trulucks, S&D Oyster Company, Avanti and Primos. If your'e going to eat near the AAC just keep in mind that most of these eateries are going to be upscale or semi-upscale so dress the part!

There are several restaurants in the West End sector of downtown, within walking distance from the AAC. Also, there is the great Dallas icon of tex-mex, the El Fenix, also within walking distance if you want that sort of thing. Cool River Cafe is good but it is no where near American Airlines Center.

I was in Dallas a few months back and can't remember exactly what part of town, but the best meal I've ever ate anywhere came from Dallas at Cool River Cafe. Absolutly wonderful and after dinner they had a nice lounge where I saw a lot of cowboy players. Highly recommended! About $35 /person, but well worth it!

Too many to choose from.
The Cool River Cafe mentioned earlier is in Las Colinas, about 20 minutes from the AAC. It is as described...awesome.
Casual sports bar with great food is Humperdinks. They brew their own beer. It's about 15 minutes from AAC.
There is a Hooters within walking distance. That's always a safe choice.
