Peanut butter is fine for dogs, don't worry. It's people who can have bad reactions to nuts. As for choking - c'mon, dogs crunch up bones and eat the bits! Many experts recommend sealing up the large end of your Kong with either peanut butter or cream cheese. My dog has been consuming both for months with no problems at all.

I think that it should be ok as long as it not a whol lot of it at once she could choke because its sticky.I give my puppy peanut butter to help her take her pills. If you are worried about a reaction ask a doctor first or give her a very little lick first and see if anything happens(she most likely wont)

Dogs don't have peanut allergies, and they LOVE peanut butter. You can give them any kind and they will just scarf it down... I would go with creamy peanut butter for a pup, but as she gets older, you can give her crunchy if you buy it.
Any kind of peanut butter is good for dogs, in moderation as with anything else. The transfats aren't particularly good for them (or us) but the regular fats and proteins are. Plus that is a great way to get a noncompliant dog to take medicine.
And one of the funniest things in the world is a dog licking peanut butter off the roof of its mouth.

peanut butter is used in so many different dog treats.. and is included in many different homemade dog treat recipies. I have never heard of a dog having a problem with it, aside from maybe the choking issue.
I think its good for stuffing bones, and to use in dog treats, and just a little to hide a pill in.. I wouldnt give my dog a big glob of it to try to eat.

I always put some peanut butter on a bone and freeze it. Or use it if they are on medication (pills). I've never had a problem!

Some are alergic & peanut butter is the #1 cause of choking to death.

Please dont give your puppy peanut butter. I just got my 8 week old puppy cavalier king charles spaniel and trust me dont introduce her to anything new because she will have a funny stomach from it. Even when she is older dont give it to her. Please dont give it to her; she will have a bad stomch most probably and could have an allergic reaction.
