Windows XP will not delete programs - Mozilla Thunderbird?

I've used Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs, selected the program Thunderbird, then Change/Remove. This process has worked in the past on other no-longer-needed programs but will not now -- it just hangs there. I also tried using Windows Defender to remove the program but Thunderbird is not on the remove list.

Suggestions appreciated and thanks.

Uhm, those ways you tired should have worked. Maybe restart your computer or something. Maybe you should go in my computer, Local Disk, Program Files, and select the program, and look in that file for a program call uninstall. If not there, try deleting the whole folder. Than maybe download CCleaner(Crap Cleaner) and search your registry for left keys. The left keys, will be that program that didnt uninstall sucessfully. I hope this works. You may email me for any more uqestions you may have. Rowebil@gmail.com
