Bleeding After A LEEP?

I just had a LEEP done 3 days ago and have not yet had any bleeding or discharge. How long does that normally take to start? I'm sick of wearing pads all day for no reason.

Update:

I was never told to not take a bath, and was under the impression I could have sex after the discharge stopped.

You may have discharge that is brownish or pink, or nothing at all (LEEP cauterizes the tissue, so there usually isn't any open skin to bleed per se, but it IS healing, so there may be discharge).

Try wearing a panty liner instead of an actual pad. If you start bleeding for any reason (period or from LEEP), the liner will protect you till you can get yourself to a bathroom and get a pad on.

EDIT: You can shower, but you should NOT soak in a tub (as this will potentially introduce bacteria into the vaginal canal). Sex should be avoided for at least 2-3 weeks, again for the same reasons.

I had a leep two years ago and did not have any bleeding or discharge. Make sure you follow instructions about not having sex, or taking a bath for the full month though.
