Can I get 1080i input to my HDTV from the blu ray dvd on the PS3?

    u mean 1080i output from ps3 to ur HDTV? yes u can, u will need to connect the ps3 to the HDTV using a HDMI cable or a HDMI to DVI cable also u will need to setup ps3 so it uses the HDMI output for display as default.

    YES. The PS3 supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i and 1080p.

    I have an HDTV with a max resolution of 1080i and everything plays just fine... games, DVDs, etc. all in 1080i.
