Henna Recipe?

Does anyone have a recipe to make Henna? I want to teach my kids the history of Henna and finish up with Henna tattoos...

    have you looked in google or wikipedia? henna is a plant, so if you were to begin from 'scratch' youd have to grow it. you can get dry, powdered henna, im not sure where, though. its kinda messy; i cant remember but i think you just boil it for awhile.
