always check the simple things first.. I will guess that it is water in the tank.. to get rid of it.. stop in a store and buy a bottle of rubbing alcohol and pour it in your tank next time you gas up. usually the water will become more of a problem when the tank is on its lower half.. the water gathers up around the screen in your tank and can cut off the flow of fuel.. when you put fuel into the tank it forces the water to break up in to smaller quantities and since there is more fuel it sloshes around enough to keep the water from settling. when the tank has less fuel.. the water begins to collect back together into a larger glob. Since it is heavier than the fuel it sinks to the lowest part of your tank which is where the screen is located.. the alcohol will cause the water to go into solution and be pumped through the engine and expelled through your exhaust. I would get two bottles of alcohol and dump both in then add a few gallons of gas.. it should do the trick.. other gas treatments are expensive and not as effective as cheap alcohol.. if that doesn't do it, then check your inline filter.. they are easily changeable.. good luck

When is the last time you had your air/fuel filter replaced. If that is not the problem. Then you might check to see if you have corrosion on the post or maybe your cables might need to be tighten.

The miss in your car can be anything from water in the fuel, bad fuel pump, or ignition problem (bad distributor cap or whole distributor)

check the fuel and air filters 1st. If replacing either one or both doesn't solve the problem, it might get a little expensive after that.

My guess - igniter going out. It's a chip inside the distributor.
Providing this vehicle has a distributor.
