How do you get a real estate broker to hire you?

This is assuming you already passed your states test for a real estate license? What is a good Marketing plan?

Update:

Thank you sarah

It would be better if you took the approach that you are interviewing them! They don't make money if you don't. If they don't invest good training and support in you, well then just go down the road and find someone who will.

Just because you took a course and passed a test will not make you a good realtor. You must be mentored and trained. This is a tough business and you will face a lot of rejection and you must be the professional who knows the answers.

My broker in NY, bless his soul! Trained me and took me door to door, taught me how to negotiate and get deals done. I moved to Florida 3 years ago and still rely on him greatly...I have not found even close to the caliber of brokers here but Thank God I can stand on my own because of the training I received, retained and practice. Don't settle for a schmo broker or you will be a schmo realtor instead of the best you can be!
