Gatlinburg tn?

I live within 2 hours of Gatlinburg. Depends on what your intrests are. If you like hiking and plan to take advantage of the park stay in Gatlinburg. It's more romantic than other areas also. If you are a shopper, go-cart rider/bungee jumper, and need to be in the middle of the action stay in Pigeon Forge. There is tons of stuff to do in both places. We generally stay with Cove Mountain Realty in a rental cabin or choose to stay in the Econo Lodge Riverside. Cove Mnts cabins are in Wears Valley - all the ones we have stayed have awesome views and have been really nice & clean. Gosh I can give you tons of info, let me know what you are speciafically looking for. We just came back from a 4 day stay last week. We go down there about 4 or so times per year.

Just noticed your name - if you show a military id at Tanger shopping center it's an extra percent off of your purchases - not sure about the Red Roof & Belz outlets though.

Gatlinburg is gorgeous! I am originally a city chick from New York but my friend moved to Tennessee so for me to like this place is saying something! We went to Gatlinburg for the weekend last August - the Great Smoky Mountains are amazingly beautiful! The people are friendly, they have an aquarium and lots of boutiques and stores in the downtown area. The restaurants were decent too. We also went to Dollywood - an amusement park with that southern feel. We had a blast! And I'm 34! I can't wait to go with my husband and son. I'm looking forward to it.

lol, we go every summer (it's really close to home, so it's easy)...yeah, we have fun. There's a lot of natural beauty in Gatlinburg...it's in the heart of the smokey mountains, after all. We mostly just walk around downtown and go shopping in Pigeon Forge or take a trip to Cherokee North Carolina. I went there for 1 day, rest of the time in Pigeon Forge. Ride the ski lift, that's fun. Its open year round. There is alot to do in Gatlinburg, its beautiful there! Have fun!

I'm from Asheville, NC, (now living in Texas) which is just a hop across the state line from Gatlinburg. It's a cool place, lots to see and do. Trust me, you'll love it.........

tourist heaven,...

water parks, kart races, putt putt, foot hills to the smokeys, pigeon forge (20 minutes away) is also a great lil place to go while in gatlinburg...i live about 1 hour away....only drawback could be traffic...

I have been there and it is so beautiful...Just be careful there is a lot of time shares there and they can get you good..lol

Cant say I have but I am sure it is nice, hope you have fun there.
