I am in a Keeper league for Football. Should I keep Tony Romo, Brett Favre, or Vince Young?
I am a season ticket holder in Wisconsin so Brett Favre has my heart but I want to win. I have to keep one of them. Who and why, be objective.

noone really knows what romo is going to be like after last years choke, and favre is old, so you dont want him in a KEEPER league. vince will get you the most in the long run.

You want to look at this questions 2 ways...1) who can I pick up again in the draft if I decide not to keep him and 2) who will be best in the long run - keeping in mind the long run in keeper leagues is 2-4 years based on new players constantly coming in.
Answer 1: Favre will never be drafted to much higer then th 7th round so if you really want him you can get him later. Romo and Young will be among the first 5-7 QB's taken so you may try to make them your keepers.
Answer 2: Favre may contribute decent numbers for 1, maybe 2 more years and therefore does not hold as much value as a keeper. Young will do more over the next 10 years than most QB's currently in the league but 10 years is too far to look into the future for fantasy keeper leagues. Romo, however, with the big play WR's he has as well as Witten to fall back on with a solid runnign game to keep the passing lanes open is poised to have agreat 3-4 years which is exactly what you are looking for.
In my mind, Romo is the QB to keep. The one question I have is, how does you keeper league work?...because I hope you have better players to concentrate on keeping than these guys (top WR's, RB's, maybe TE or D).

I can't see a good reason to keep Favre. He's fine to have on your team, but he's not what he used to be.
Vince Young has a lot of talent and likely is your pick. He can throw and run which is soooo key in the red zone.
Romo is solid but nobody knows what to expect of him. He's probably a 2nd or 3rd tier QB anyway

Vince Young. With what he did last year he's almost a garuntee to have an impact on the NFL. Brett Farve is way past his prime and I think he will have about the same production as last year.

Honestly with the improvements (cross fingers) the Dallas Cowboys have made with their new coach, the new emphasis on big plays with T.O. / Glenn/ Witten. I would go with Romo, I think he will put up more QB numbers than V.Young.
