gm tecs - quad driver?
When you have a quad driver problem does the comp go into a default mode . Ex. shorted air pump caused cooling fans to stay on - 93ta
Replaced air pump cleared comp good to go still no problems in 3yrs

The quad drivers are switches inside your cars computer. In most cases they supply a ground for a circuit. If you have a shorted quad driver,then you have to replace the computer. There are ways to test this condition but you need a schematic for the connectors at the computer.

You dont have a "quad driver" problem per-say...the short caused the quad driver to burn out and that in turn grounded the cooling fan relay causing the fans to stay on. Replacing the computer is the remedy....after repairing the short, of course.
