Should the U.S. be selling $20billion worth of arms to Saudi Arabia OR nuclear bombing Mecca?

Is Saudi Arabia a friend of the United States or an enemy?

    Neither.

Bombing Mecca would guarantee every Arab and every Muslims would put aside their differences and declare war on the US -- 20% of the world's population united against us despite their internal differences.

But Saudi Arabia is the primary foreign supporter of insurgents in Iraq, and 15 of the 19 hijackers from 9/11 came from Saudi Arabia -- so not really an ally either.

Though many people are saying “neither”, I’ll attempt to answer.

My political views aside, supplying Saudi Arabia with arms would be a much more amiable choice than the latter. Considering the Saudis are rather close with the Bush Administration and given that the US would be benefiting from the income, it would be a better option. It is also important to remember that the terrorists involved in 9/11 did not have any impermeable ties with the Saudi administration, so connecting the two is a weak argument.

Bombing Mecca would be like nuking Rome in order to wipe out the Vatican City. The actual terrorists that threaten the United States are a small sect, and Mecca is first and foremost a place of religious piousness. Lumping up all Muslims into one stereotype is ignorant. Not to mention mass murder would be the ultimate hypocrisy after 9/11.

Well enemy's are never any good, but allowing a supposed friend to cross you like the Saudis have is a plain dumbass move. Then again what politician would want to stand up to Arabia? I mean come on, all the oil, 7% investments in US economy, best friends with the Bush administration! Screw the fact that 15 of the hijackers were Saudi, that doesn't mean the Saudis are housing Al-Qaeda right? And Osama, he's just a bad Saudi egg they let fall out of the nest a long time ago...

no person rather knows of for constructive if there are any suitable right here. there grew to become into as quickly as a Russian government actual returned in 1997 who stated that there have been some suitcase nukes lacking from their arsenal. however the Russian govt denied it. So there is not any approach to correctly known who's telling the certainty. the ingredient relating to the suitcase nukes is this is not any longer trouble-free to maintain them and shelter them in working order. fairly for an prolonged time with the help of everybody till they have particularly some know-how approximately nukes. I problem better a pair of grimy bomb. A bomb that has some form of radioactive fabric in it. while it explodes is does not explode with the rigidity of a nuclear weapon, even though it may unfold radioactive cloth around a particularly massive concern and function an result on countless human beings.

Obviously Saudi Arabia is an enemy of the US, they have been exporting Wahabi terrorism for decades. But they also export a huge amount of oil. They are misogynistic fascists, but they tend to hate our enemies. And they tend to buy our goods. Saudis suck A**, but we have other countries to level before we deal with Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is a friend of the U.S. We arm them to keep the perpetual war going and our arms sales going. Why do we arm both sides of the war? Money and control. Instability forever in the Middle East and constant fear in the US keeps the ruling elite in control.

Neither. Especially with nuclear weapons. The moment the United States launches nuclear weapons against any nation, it's over for all of us.

Neither, they should keep themselves and their arms at home. However, they'll do whatever is most stupid and ten years later say it was brilliant. It's the American way.
