Do you think Tony Stewart should be kicked out of NASCAR?
It seems that every year Tony Stewart is in trouble with NASCAR over something. I find it amazing that he only gets fines and loss of points and has not been suspended from races. I can understand from nascar that he is fan favorite and a previous champion, but he should not be given special treatment because of this. I remember many drivers that operated like he did, and when NASCAR talked with the drivers, they would straighten up. There were times when Dale Earnhardt was fined and even given stern warnings about suspension and he cleaned his act up.
I even heard that Stewart was asked to leave indy
racing because of his attitude.

No, but when he deliberately wrecks another driver in retaliation for some imagined slight (as happened several times last year) he should be suspended for a race or two. The puny fines etc. don't affect him, but maybe not being allowed to race would get his attention.
Just a couple decades ago, Stewart's on-track antics would have earned him a trip behind the pit stalls for a little re-education via jack handle and crowbar. We're more civilized now, I guess.
Stewart's potty mouth, errant middle finger, and blatant disrespect for officials, other drivers, and even his own fans are all part of his charming personality (and have been since long before he came to NASCAR). At age 36 I don't expect him to change.
Personally I'd be happy to see Stewart retire, or move on to another series, or just go away. He can drive brilliantly, but his uncouth and thuggish behavior reflects no credit on NASCAR or the sport.

Kicking any driver out of NASCAR isn't right. If you haven't noticed, Tony Stewart hasn't done anything that merits him being kicked out. He may be NASCAR's bad boy, but he's not THAT bad.
And no, Stewart shouldn't get suspended, did he do anything as bad as what Harvick did to get his suspension? No, so there.
Special treatment? From what I've seen, all the penalties I've seen him get were totally predictable, a lot of us knew what he was going to get, and they are pretty consistent to me.
Asked to leave IRL? Asked to leave IRL by Gibbs to join his team, but not by IRL officials.
I really don't see your point in wanting Stewart to be kicked out. If you don't like the way he is, too bad, Tony Stewart is Tony Stewart, and that is something only he can change if he wants to.

Heck no... Why should they kick him out? Because he's a vocal person who creates controversy with what he says? Who cares. It's not like no one has ever heard the word "Shull Bit" or anything. As far as getting special treatment for being a previous championship, look at Dale Jarrett and Bill Elliott. There's 2 guys who have received huge special treatment with the stupid past championship starting the race they have no place to even be in. As far as Stewart leaving IRL, you may want to go check your facts. JGR offered him a great contract and gave him the opportunity to race for full venues unlike the IRL. I mean look at who the face of the IRL is now, a chick who has never won a race, but demands that everyone bends over and kisses her feet because she led a handful of laps at the 1 place that IRL will actually sell out. I mean heck, Kyle Petty has won more races than she has. What's the hype all about? If it's something cool that a chick is racing, where's the hype over a person who I have a lot of respect for Bill Lester. I loved what he said to an interviewer. They asked him what it meant for him to be the 1st black male to race in the Nextel Cup and Lester's response was a humble one indeed. I will be happy when this is not a top story on day. I don't see Danica or anyone else in the IRL saying that.

Sure lets get rid of the ONLY driver that is not afraid to speak their mind! This is a stupid question. Why would they kick him out, he is the one getting them the ratings. And bye the way are you saying that by him saying a bad word that he is worse than the teams that get caught CHEATING EVERY YEAR? The only reason that he is in trouble every year is because NASCAR has figured out a way to create controversy in turn making money.
And his on track issues. accidents happen at 200mph get over it. At least he doesn't talk on the radio about intentionally wrecking people(JR) and Gordon has had his share of incidents too.

if you are a true fan of nascar, hate him or love him tony is what nascar was. if you shut down people like tony, busch brothers, harvick, etc then we will have what nascar wants a politically correct bunch of guys afraid to bump into one another and/or say anything to each other o my god how freaking boring. look how much more exciting it was back in the day of trouble makers like darrell watrip, cal yarborough, dale sr.( he couln't be the intimidator in nowaday nascar) and others. they raced with passion and determination to win at any cost. france, helton and the boys are trying to get more money from sponsors in nascar so they can keep it privately owned, but in the back of there mind they wont say it but they want these guys to act like this cause its good for ratings, but they cant let these sponsors know they need this for the sport to continue to grow

All of the things he gets fined for are fairly minor. Not enough to kick him out of NASCAR. He'd have to do something pretty severe to just be kicked out. Mark Cuban gets fined all the time in the NBA but should he not be allowed to own a team. No, he's just stretching the rules, not doing anything bad for the sport. Stweart isn't a 'model citizen' in NASCAR, but he isn't damaging the sport either. So until he does something really extreme, you'll just have to keep putting up with his tantrums and rightfully so.

For What? For being himself and doing the same thing any average Joe would do? Why should he have to keep his mouth shut? If you don't like the words coming out of his mouth then don't stick a damn microphone in it! They should kick these wimpy "Nancy Boys" right in the *** and out to the curb! When will this constant assault of CONTROLLING everybody and everything by a few sissy pukes end?
And also ...what the hell is with ESPN anyway? Ain't nobody over there ever drink a beer? Jackass's! Man-up Sally!

Of course not. His Kurt Busch type actions are great! He's not the only driver in nascar that needs to grow up and be responsible.

He needs to be on his best behavior for the rest of the season or he will violate probation and be suspended for 2007. He is not nearly as popular as drivers like Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, or Edwards. Popularity doesn't excuse a driver when he violates the rules. I am more irritated with his on track driving when he wrecks people than I am with his language in interviews. I didn't see the interview and I thought that live sports events were on a delay to prevent the public from hearing objectionable language and seeing lewd behavior.
