How do I wear a scarf over my hair?

put the square on ur head, let the part on the left side of ur face be short (goes down only to ur neck) hold the two side together from the middle with a pin (where ur throat is) and the right side should be what is left from the scarf which will be long. wrap the long side around ur head going from left to right side and so on till it is all wrapped. as u wrap, u can use pins to hold the scarf but be careful not to hurt ur head. Some wear small bandanas underneath the scarf to make it look better. There are many various ways to wear a scarf but I gave u the very basic one. it is better to hold ur hair with a hair band so it won't show or come out from ur scarf.

Personally, I love wearing scarves especially here in Egypt where i currently reside almost everyone wears them and they come in so many different colors and shapes. I was raised in a religious family who taught me to wear it and i grew up being used to it. Back when I was in USA, I didn't face any troubles cuz ppl seemed so open minded and knew what Islam is and why women wear headscarves. Only maybe one time one would say oh is it halloween? but I just ignore such ppl and excuse their ignorance.

there are other ways to wear a scarf in which u can show ur ears and a part of ur neck, in this case, ppl do wear earrings and it looks really nice. The way I told u abt wont show the earrings or the neck. I usually have a small golden earring on all the time so I just keep them on whether they show or not. But if I have big ones I would definitely remove them if im not showing that part of my ears because they would bother me. I hope someone can explain better or show u a different way to wear a scarf.

I am a guy and I see nothing wrong with females wearing rollers in public. When I was growing up in the 1960s and 70s females would wear rollers in public all the time and no one thought anything about it. In fact I think a female in rollers looks rather sexy and I know there are many other guys who feel the same. But not all guys feel this way. Do what you are comfortable with and do not worry about what anyone else thinks. My girlfriend says that old-fashion hood hairdryers are INdirect heat and do very little, if any damage to your hair. So, if you want your rolled hair to dry faster, sit under a hood dryer. Search the web, there are many black females who still roller set their hair today. I bet you will find that roller setting is becoming more common again.

I only wear a silk scarf to bed. When you relax your hair it must be covered so it won't break off while sleeping. Silk or satin is the best material for relax hair because it does not absorbs the natural oil from your hair like cotton.

I wear 45 large rollers to bed and the scarf is on my head like old school gang bangers tied in the front.

I had a severe scalp injury in an accident, so I had to wear a scarf (**not tied any particular way, just knoted under my chin**) but now that my doctors fixed my injury, I don't want to wear a scarf, even though I have pretty scarves.

My parents love to see my hair again, and I go outside without having to hide anymore, so i would never wear one again. I feel blessed to not be vain anymore (because of injury) and to be free to style my hair how I want.

Women who are bald due to cancer treatment use scarves to cover their hairless heads, and old ladies with curlers in their hairhide the curlers with a scarf. Other than that, God gave women hair. Enjoy it.
