What do you think about the personal side of what the POLICE ACTUALLY do...?

I think there is a trend in law enforcement for police to interact more with law abiding citizens instead of just the work contacts with criminals. They seem to be doing this in the form of explorer cadet posts working with teens who have an interest in law enforcement, citizen academies where citizens attend weekly classes to learn what police work is like and then go on ride alongs with officers, and police dept. foundations where citizens form a foundation and raise money for programs like police chaplains, DARE, Explorer Cadets, bullet proof vests, and awards to recognize the officers of the dept. the foundation supports.

Their jobs are not only varied but complicated with regard to the acts that they are governed by -- because really are you as a policeman or woman allowed to become personally involved with someone -- because you are there to enforce the law carry out arrests --- what other things are involved in your job -- out there on those streets...... Really means I wanna date a cop!

BEING A POLICE OFFICER SHOULD BE TREATED AS A JOB AND WHEN YOU ARE OFF DUTY, YOU SHOULD BE A NORMAL CITIZEN....IT MUST NOT BECOME AN OBSESSION WHICH IT SEEMS IS HAPPENING TO YOU... ITS NOT A WAY OF LIFE, JUST A CAREER.

It relies upon. have you ever learnt that the county you reside in owns the roads and the owned assets in many situations extends 10-15 feet into the encompassing assets? right here in Michigan, the county owns the line and the 1st 12 feet of my backyard. I mow it and shield it, in spite of the shown fact that it isnt mine. they could even boost the line into my backyard yet another lane and there is not any longer something i could desire to do approximately it.

One thing police officers have to do is put up with the negativity of schmucks like 'Pro Bush' who apparently would enjoy having pickpockets, thieves, speeders, etc get away with breaking the law unimpeded.

And, it's guys like him who, the moment somebody commits an illegal act against them, they call for the cops.

You really shouldn't. It's hard to be fair when your emotion get involved.

I don't care for any of the cops I have met in Virginia. they are alot of trouble, some are ok i guess.
