Stolen answer get chosen as best answer ??

Yes. It happens. It's very annoying. There are dishonest people everywhere (like this guy before me.. scott).

Can you imagine if they can steal an answer here, what they can do in real life??? They stink. That's for sure.

I've also seen a wrong answer being chosen as best answer and my very correct answer being given lots of 'thumbs-down'.

Yes, it happened to me a year ago with a former Yahoo ID.

Question: "Which comes first: chicken or egg?"

My Answer: "Chicken (alphabetical order!)"

Another answerer used my identical answer after I submitted it. His was chosen Best Answer.

Turned out to be a team of two persons who had a little game going where she would pose a question; he would answer; and no matter how inane (or insane) the answer, his would be chosen for the 10 points.

An example -- she asked the question:

"Who invented the 24 hour day?"

He answered "Rolex owner", and she chose that as Best Answer.

Hey it gets better. Once I asked about racism in Taiwan. The best answer chosen by Asker was that a state had the right to make its own laws. So what was wrong about apartheid South Africa?

I know what you mean. This hasn't happen to me. I asked a question about the thumbs down earlier. I don't get why someone gives you a thumbs down for no reason. It seems like some people have partners so they score more points. It isn't fair. But what can you do.

i dont get it i always choose the first person to answer if the answers are so much alike thats strange that they would choose that person im sorry you shoulda got the 10 points

They are firm believers, "DON'T DO AS I DO, DO AS I SAY TO DO!!!" Their Motto........Have actually had an answer pulled, not vulgar, no cursing, no nothing except to disagree POLITELY

I guess the asker didn't know who answered 1st. Sorry...but you should complain to both of them & star that question just in case they're in cohoots....then you can report it to yahoo.

Yes that happened one time to me.I over looked it.I don't think I'd be that nice again if that person does it again. Please let me give you a star....hope it makes you feel better.
