What theme should I go with for a 50th birthday party?

If it is coming up soon you should plan a luau. They are so much fun for ppl of all ages, plus you will be able to find tons of favors for the party. As a cute- prank you should buy a coco-but bra and grass skirt for the birthday girl. I am sure she'll get a kick out of and also feel young again. You can get a limbo stick and get recipies for cool fruity drinks!

If you are thinking 50 and fabulous, you can do everything in 50s.

A jar of 50 golden dollars for a gift. A 1950s theme. A 1950s cake. Happy days music. Invite 50people. Use pictures of celeberties that are in their fifties but are yet fabulous. Have 50 mylar balloons at the party. Play 50 songs.

This might be kinda contrite, but why not a 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s theme for each person? Or something like that, the person who is 60 was born in the 40s, the person who is 50 was born in the 50s, the person who is 40 was born in the 60s, kinda weird, huh?
