How do you configure MS Word so that it automatically adds 2 spaces after the end of sentences?

Or Colons for that matter?

This method will give you two spaces after the full stop (or colon) when you have typed only one space.

Type a sentence with a full stop/colon at the end. Select only the full stop/colon. Click on Tools - AutoCorrect. Under the Auto Correct Tab type a full stop/colon at Replace. Click after the full stop/colon which is pre-typed in the 'With' section and press the space-bar once. Click Add and then click OK

Go to the page setup menu and select spacing then select double. This sets your entire page to double spacing.

    HIya Cutie Patootie!!

Well ofcourse, I'll always answer YOUR questions. ;)

ON the top options, 'format' should be one of them.

Click that, and then click 'paragraph'.

Once there, you can adjust the spacing to be single, double or whatever floats yer boat.

Wait... I didn't read the question properly... is there a way to do that?

    I know what you do....

See that strange key between the two 'Alt' keys?

Tap that twice when you reach the end of your sentence, and bang, Bob's yer uncle, Fanny's yer Aunt!
