Memory mix?

Can sims of the same speed (PC2700(333)) at 1GB and 512MB be used in the same motherboard or will this just cause conflicts?

As long as your motherboard can handle it it will be fine...

You don't need to pair memory since they came with DRAM.

Only the older EDO and Standard memory needs to be paired...Joe

It should be ok as long as your PC can handle a total of 1.512 GB of RAM. Otherwise it may not recognize any or all of one of the sticks. The other thing is, some memory is designed to be "paired" meaning it will only work, or work best, if two of the same are installed together. The RAM will usually be listed that way if this is the case.
