y was the moon red today in the central valley(ca)?

    Just means the sun light is bouncing through our atmosphere a little before it hits the moon. You wont see it that much, and it's usually referred to as a blood moon said to be a bad omen.

    It may have been a lunar Eclipse. What you may heve been seeing was the Earth's shadow on the moon.
