My oven won't heat!?
I recently cleaned the oven, but I thought everything went fine. We have an electric oven, and I was careful not to get the cleaner on anything important. But now it won't heat to anything under the "broil" setting. Any clues on how to fix it?

You need to get a new heating element I believe the broil is your top element and they are easy to change out.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it won't heat anything under the broil setting." Anything less than the broil setting, or anything within the broil setting area?
If you mean the broiler element won't heat but the baking element will heat, then the broiler element has come loose, or it needs to be replaced. If you mean the broiler element will heat, but the baking element will not, then your lower heating element has either come loose, else it's time to replace the element. There could also be one more possibility: if your oven has a timer, then you may have accidently shifted or moved the timer hand to where the baking element won't come on. That happened to me a couple years ago. For my particular type of oven, the broiler will still work even if the timer is out of whack. Yours is probably the same, but you may want to check that as well.
If you have an electric testor, you can easily check whether your elements are good by connecting the probes on the testor
good luck
