  • Excel Text Functions?

I am trying to create a spreadsheet for work that will section out a document path name by specific fields. For example:

    C:\Personal\Personal Files\This is a file.doc

I'd like it to be sectioned out by Drive, Master Folder, Subfolders and the Path to the containing folder, so like this:

Drive Master Folder Subfolders Path to containing folder

C:\ Personal Personal Files C:\Personal\Personal Files

I'm having a little trouble with the functions to do this, as the length of each file name and the path name changes. Anyone have an idea how I can get this to section out correctly? I've been working on this for a few hours and the functions are, at this point, not my favorite thing in the world.

  • A Cheaper/Decent Surveillance Camera?

I'm growing corn this summer, and since I KNOW it is going to bother my neighbor, and he's a little psychotic, I need to put a camera on my corn so I have something to confront him with when he tries something. I need a inexpensive, decent camera that I can mount either outside or in a window looking out. Any suggestions?

  • Should I put air in my tires?

I have a 2008 Kia Rio. I know the man who sold me the car (dealer) said that the light would come on warning me of low air pressure in my tires when the weather was cold. I think it's been getting down to the single digits at night, not warmer than 20 degrees during the day.

Well my light for low air pressure came on. I guess my question is, how do you know when you should actually put air in your tires or if you should just assume the light will go off when it warms up a little more?

  • How To Get Back At A Mean Neighbor?

I leave before my mom, and come home before her. So obviously I can't park in the driveway at night because then my mom would have to park behind me, and I need to leave before her.

Well my neighbor doesn't want me to park on the street because it's "too hard for him to back in to his driveway." I've seen him whip his truck in there WHILE I WAS PARKED ON THE STREET and he didn't seem to have any problems.

Now the psycho is parking his truck in my spot so I can't park there. He sets his alarm clock for 1:30 in the morning, THEN moves his truck in to his driveway, just so I can't park on the street.

I'm looking for really mean, completely LEGAL ways to get back at him; just irritating ways to annoy the crap out of him. I'm already going to report him to the city for feeding wildlife, his cats (unleashed and unregistered) and for junk visible from our house. But I want some really annoying things that will make him think twice about messing with me. Thanks in advance!

  • What kind of battery should I put in my car?

I was going to ask the guy at the store, but figured he'd try to get me to buy the most expensive one there. So what kind of battery should I put in my 1996 Oldsmobile Achieva?

I'm going to be taking my road test in a month and a half (Minnesota). Does anyone have a list or know of a list online of everything you have to be able to do to pass the test? Thanks in advance.

  • Pasta in a slow cooker??

I'm making a Hungarian Goulash. I usually cook it on the stove for a couple of hours, but I'm thinking about just putting it in the slow cooker all day. My question: do I need to cook noodles before I put them in the slow cooker or will they soften on their own over the 8 or so hours they'll be in there.

Seems like a dumb question, but I hate when people put hard noodles in lasagna and they don't soften all the way. Thanks in advance.

  • My Nintendo DS Lite has upper screen problems??

Okay, obviously something came loose. If the screen hinge isn't bent all the way back, the upper screen turns mostly white. You can still make out a few things, but most of it is just like a blizzard on my screen. I used to be able to bend it back and forth and press certain spots on the case behind the screen and it would clear up perfectly, but now it HAS to be bent all the way back to see.

In any case, I'm NOT going to send it in to Nintendo and spend $75 to fix it (my warranty JUST expired) when I can buy a used one for cheaper than that, so I was wondering if anyone had had this problem before or knows how to fix it. I'm pretty sure something just came loose and needs to be soldered back together or something. And if I'm going to have to buy a new one anyway, I might as well try to fix it myself first. Thanks in advance.

  • Can flax seed oil give you a stomach ache?

I used to take some every day, eat breakfast, and then get sick to my stomach. Well, I forgot my vitamins for a couple months and started taking them again, and the stomach aches are back. Could it be the flax seed oil? I'm also taking a One A Day Women's vitamin, but I've had them before with no problems.

  • SDHC Compatible?

I have an RCA Pearl 512 MB TH1100A. I've looked all over and can't see if it's compatible with SDHD cards. Anyone know of a list of music devices compatible with the high density cards, or offhand if mine is, at least? Thanks.

  • Does anyone know of a search engine for romance novels?

I remember a romance novel I read a loooong time ago, but I remember very few details. I'm looking for some search engine that would allow me to enter dates, as I can narrow it down to a couple of years possible publishing date, and I kind of remember the cover. Any ideas?

  • How much will it cost to fix a front suspension?

My mom's front suspension fell off her car today. One side cracked into the street, but she was pulling into a parking lot so she wasn't going terribly fast and there wasn't a lot of damage to the fender. Anyway, we were just wondering if anyone had a rough estimate on the cost involved in replacing it, before the repair shop gets around to pricing it tomorrow.

She drives an oldsmobile achieva se from the late 90s.

  • My oven won't heat!?

I recently cleaned the oven, but I thought everything went fine. We have an electric oven, and I was careful not to get the cleaner on anything important. But now it won't heat to anything under the "broil" setting. Any clues on how to fix it?

  • New Breast Pain?

Okay, I don't want to flip out and go to the doctor when there might be a non-stressful answer to this, but I've been having some pain in my left breast. It's off and on, and has been happening of about a month or so. I don't have any new or unusual lumps (I do my monthly exams regularly). And it's very hard to define a specific location of the pain. Doesn't seem to matter at what point I am in my cycle, and am definitely not pregnant. So... Anyone have any ideas?

  • Our AC Isn't Working!!?

We have a Bryant central air system. I've gone through all the troubleshooting guides, and everything is just fine. The AC is blowing cold, true, but it's not blowing hard enough to make a difference at all (barely a breeze coming out). It's hotter in here than it is outside! Anyone know if I can adjust the fan or how to fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

  • Do betas need rocks in their bowls?

My sister gave me her beta fish and she's always had rocks in the bottom of the bowl, but the ones she gave me are starting to smell funny and I'm not inclined to buy more. Do the rocks serve some special purpose or can I just leave them out of her next tank change?
