Does anyone know of a search engine for romance novels?

I remember a romance novel I read a loooong time ago, but I remember very few details. I'm looking for some search engine that would allow me to enter dates, as I can narrow it down to a couple of years possible publishing date, and I kind of remember the cover. Any ideas?

Update:

Actually, the book would be purple with come half-naked people, of course, and would be historical between the years 1990 and 1994, if anyone happens to have any ideas in that respect, too.
