My Nintendo DS Lite has upper screen problems??
Okay, obviously something came loose. If the screen hinge isn't bent all the way back, the upper screen turns mostly white. You can still make out a few things, but most of it is just like a blizzard on my screen. I used to be able to bend it back and forth and press certain spots on the case behind the screen and it would clear up perfectly, but now it HAS to be bent all the way back to see.
In any case, I'm NOT going to send it in to Nintendo and spend $75 to fix it (my warranty JUST expired) when I can buy a used one for cheaper than that, so I was wondering if anyone had had this problem before or knows how to fix it. I'm pretty sure something just came loose and needs to be soldered back together or something. And if I'm going to have to buy a new one anyway, I might as well try to fix it myself first. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of this problem, and so I'm assuming it's a fairly rare problem. It's ironic how stuff always seems to break just after the warranty expires, right?
Anyway, you're probably better off purchasing a new one if you'd rather not spend the money to fix it. I can't think off-hand anything you can actively do to fix your DS (I have one, myself).
Sorry.
