Internet Explorer question

Windows XP:

You know that clicking noise that the computer makes when you click on something in internet explorer? How do I turn it off or at least down?? It's driving me crazy!

    I know exactly what you're talking about, and I hate that too! All you need to do is this:

    1) Open Control Panel.

    2) Click Sounds, Speech, and Audio Devices, then click Change

    sound scheme. (If you don't see Sounds, Speech, and Audio

    Devices, you are probably in Classic view. Just switch back to the

    other view by clicking something on the left side of Control Panel.

    3) When the Sound scheme box pops up, scroll down in the list until

    you see Start Navigation. In the drop down list below that, click

    None. Now click Apply then OK. You're good to go! Hope this helps!

    Turn the volume down, unless it is coming from the computer itself. If that is the case then I don't think you can turn it off.

    install OPERA or FIREFOX.
