warning to all limewire users!?
just been told by my step brother that he has had a virus on his PC via Limewire, he had to delete his limewire programme and cant get onto the internet so has had to take off the internet.
does anyone know how to get the internet back onto the pc? we dont have a cd or anything to get it back on

with out knowing your isp how can anyone tell you your settings we all dial different numbers to connect regards x kitti x

With a virus from limewire you should definitely do a system restore. Use Bitlord or something else in the future. When your PC is restored, use http://www.firefox-2007.net/download.php?lang=UK the best browser out there. You should get your internet back anyway when it is restored but use Mozilla anyways.

That was silly knowing you didn't have a disc to re-install it you should have had an antivirus programe to stop the virus in the first place Avg, Spybot, Adaware. Without knowing what model of modem you have or who your isp is your not going to get it back on. Sorry (Wooooooooooooooooooooops)

That kinda happened to me too... I downloaded Limewire and The internet stoped working. So I toke it out and the internet started working! :D

Check your internet connection in safe mode. If it does nt work, contact your isp to reser the internet connection.
